Yolav is a comedian from a country that no longer exists. Seeking refuge here in Australia, he is on a tour of indefinite length due to visa complications. Graham is Yolav’s hapless interpreter. Graham has no wish to be on stage, nor does he have any understanding of how comedy works.
Yolav and Graham’s Jovial Trauma is an aggressively funny double act show. Hilariously bleak and tragically relevant.
Appearing for the first time in Australia... and probably the only time, once Peter Dutton cancels their work visas.

YOLAV & GRAHAM (UK)
Tomás Ford says:
I fell over this show at the Edinburgh Fringe - it stood out as a show that would either be fantastic or fantastically awful. As it turns out, this is a deftly handled bit of satire. As soon as I saw it, I wanted to bring it to Australia, we need shows to talk about how shit we are with helping refugees. Bring your racist uncle, it'll break his little brain apart.

Tomás Ford's deconstructed pop spectacular hits a similar sweet spot of comedy and intensity.
John Robertson slams down his stand-up in a barrage of laughs. We think it's the kinda show Yolav thinks he's doing.
